Week 5- Shallots

I was pleasantly surprised by the nice flavor of these onion like vegetables. I kinda took to the nickname Devil Onions because I had to peel several pounds at school and they can sometimes me more powerful than onions.



Our pretty simple smoothie recipe. I personally love tossing in a handful of spinach and making as thick as ice cream. 🙂

3/4 cup yogurt
1 banana
1/2 cup dry milk powder
1 cup frozen strawberries
other frozen fruit (peaches, pineapple etc) if desired

milk to thin if needed
Sugar or Stevia to taste


Mix all ingredients in blender.  Blend.
